Home Sweet Gingerbread Home!

Each year we look forward to the holidays and all of the events that go along with the festive season. There must have been quite the buzz about our Gingerbread House Decorating Classes this year … they booked up quickly! So of course we were thrilled and looked forward to our first class on December 5th.
From the look on the kids faces (complete concentration – they were into it!), we’d say the parents were heroes for bringing them here. It was a candy heaven in our ballroom – loads of gingerbread and countless amounts of candy!
Now…we love feedback, as we are always striving to improve our service and guests’ experiences, but it’s compliments such as this that make our jobs so enjoyable and well worth doing:
“I wanted to pay you a gigantic compliment for the gingerbread decorating event this past Sunday at Lansdowne. I brought my niece and this is now our favorite holiday activity to do at Christmas time. The supplies were great, the help was great – everyone had positive attitudes and were so supportive and accommodating. Brilliant execution and a brilliant idea! I hope you all will keep doing this at Lansdowne for years to come. Our gingerbread house is absolutely adorable and every time I pass it, it makes me smile. It was terrific!”
Thanks Sandy K. for the kudos. This is one of our favorite annual events too! We look forward to having you back next year!
Last weekend’s class was a success and we look forward to having our next set of gingerbread students here this weekend.
